The Fires of Muspell is set in the ancient world of Norse mythology. Loki, the mischief-making outsider, plots to secure his position in Asgard by marrying the goddess Freya. Odin, father of the gods, strives to resist this uprising but is preoccupied with the preservation of his human protégé Baldur. Join the worlds of gods and goddesses, giants and dwarves, monsters and men as they hurtle towards Ragnarök – the end of the world!

The Midnite Youth Theatre Company is excited to welcome back the work of playwright Tony Nicholls in 2020, the 30th anniversary of his first production with the company, and hope you enjoy this magical ride of colourful characters and awe-inspiring adventure.
