The Cherry Orchard

The Cherry Orchard, This play by Anton Chekhov, raises questions about cultural futility through the portrayal of an aristocratic Russian woman and her family, as they return to the family’s estate (which includes a large and well-known cherry orchard) just before it is auctioned to pay the mortgage.

Directed by Christian Willesee and performed in the intimate Christ Church Grammar School Drama Centre. Starred the talented Amy Webb.
